Members of the Fresh Produce Coalition have met on the 9th of June 2022 with senior officials of the FAO to discuss the initiation of a common FAO-Coalition working group to analyse the impact of the current cost hikes and supply chain disruptions on the fresh produce industry. The working group will be comprised by FAO officials and members of the coalition with the aim to create a comprehensive study series to analyse consequences of the current situation and to create additional arguments for policy makers, to increase their attention to crisis management for the fresh produce industry.
